TruvÕa¬ is a sugar substitute made from three main ingredients: stevia leaf extract, erythritol and other natural flavors. To make TruvÕa¬ Natural Sweetener, we first take the sweetest part of the stevia leaf and extract its natural flavor. But stevia leaf extract is 200 times sweeter than sugar, so to balance the sweetness we add a natural sugar alcohol called erythritol. Then we add a special recipe of natural flavors to create great-tasting, zero calorie sweetness.
